About me

Hi, my name is Haruna and I'm a certified Japanese teacher. I offer 1-on-1 Japanese lessons at all levels. 

My lessons are mostly in Japanese but don't worry even if you're a total beginner!

I have my own office in Warsaw, Poland. We could meet there or have the lessons in an online setting - preferably using Google Meet.

Lessons

I use as much Japanese as possible. I have more than 3 years of teaching experience and rarely have we had to use another language with my students, even complete beginners.

  Sample activities

• Having a conversation adequate to your level.

• Explaining grammar points from a textbook.

• Creating sample sentences together.

• Learning vocabulary, creating vocabulary lists with explanations.

• Explaining fragments from movies, anime, and lyrics of songs and discussing them.

• Talking about Japanese culture and Japan in general. I also love talking about travelling, if you're planning on going to Japan I can help you with your plans!

Payments

If you live in Poland you can pay via bank transfer in PLN. Students from other countries can use PayPal. Currently, I don't provide any other payment methods.

Online lessons and lessons at my office cost:

• 60 min - 33 USD or 120 PLN

• 90 min - 47 USD or 180 PLN

• 2h - 63 USD or 240 PLN

Individual lessons can be cancelled on the day of the lesson free of charge.

If you live in Warsaw and are interested in lessons at your place or have a small group, please let me know! If you pay for the whole month the prices are lower (110, 165 and 220 PLN respectively). Lessons in this plan can be cancelled the day before the scheduled lesson at the latest.
